In July we convened clinicians, researchers, industry leaders, and innovators from across the region for our first sustainable innovation summit.
Hosted by our NIHR HRC in Sustainable Innovation, in partnership with the LEAP Festival of Digital Health, the event explored the South West’s role in pioneering sustainable healthcare innovation.
It was a powerful morning of collaboration, insights and inspiration where we discussed the intersection of innovation, health and sustainability, addressed key challenges and outlined clear actions for advancing healthcare.
Attendees also had the opportunity to experience home-grown health technology in action, and hear from those making waves in sustainable healthcare innovation – from our NIHR partners to the team at Health and Care Innovations.
