Rebecca Harper is the Chief Operating Officer of the NIHR HealthTech Research Centre (HRC) in Sustainable Innovation, leading the strategic and operational delivery of the centre’s mission to accelerate the development and adoption of health technologies. She oversees partnerships with industry, academia, and the NHS, ensuring that innovations are clinically validated, regulatory-ready, and primed for real-world implementation.
With over 12 years of leadership experience spanning both the private and public sectors, Rebecca brings a unique blend of commercial and healthcare expertise. She spent seven years as Regional Operations Manager in the retail sector, overseeing multi-site operations, optimising performance, and driving strategic growth initiatives. Transitioning to healthcare research, she has spent the past five years in research and operations management within the NHS, supporting complex research programmes and fostering collaborations that bridge the gap between industry and clinical practice.
