David Tarbet is an experienced commercial and finance professional with a background in technology, economics, and finance. Currently serving as the Director for Business, Innovation, and Sustainability at the Royal Devon, he has worked across engineering, financial services, aviation, and healthcare.
Holding degrees in management, economics, and mechanical engineering, Dave is also a qualified management accountant. He established the Innovation Hub at the Royal Devon and played a key role in negotiations with the University of Exeter for the HealthTech Research Centre. He also leads environmental sustainability efforts, including the Trust Green Plan and PPP investment projects. Dave has experience in investment management within the social enterprise sector and serves as a Governor of Exeter Mathematics School. His interests include health technology, green investment, and sustainable finance models.
